Principal's Message

Hubbard Families,

What a fantastic first two days of school we’ve had! Our students came in smiling, excited, and ready to learn. Classrooms were buzzing with fun learning activities and lots of new friendships beginning to form. We are off to a great start!

Thank you all for your patience and understanding during drop-off these first few days. A quick reminder: there is no parking allowed in the drop-off lane. For everyone’s safety, please stay in your vehicle at all times. If you need to assist your child or share a few extra hugs, we kindly ask that you park in a designated parking space.

Also, a quick reminder about morning entry:
  • Students eating breakfast may enter through the gate by the cafeteria.
  • Students not eating breakfast should walk around the side of the building to head directly to the playground

Thank you for helping us keep all students and staff safe each day. We’re so excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to watch our students grow and succeed!

Why are menus for Hubbard, Ross, and Indian Creek found under Kuna Middle School -- Meal Plan? 
These schools don't have a cooking kitchen, so their meals are cooked at Kuna Middle School and delivered daily.

  • October 10th: Teacher In-Service Day (No School)

  • November 24-28th: Thanksgiving Break (No School)
 

Drop off/Pick up Reminder

Pick Up, Drop Off, and Parking Lot Safety
  • Safety of your child(ren) is our priority. Please pick up and drop off your child in the designated areas.
  • NO drop-off/pick-up in the bus lane.
  • No traffic or parking allowed in the bus lane.
  • Please pull forward as far as you can. Students will use the sidewalks to get to the building/playground at the beginning of the day and again to get to you car at the end of the day.
  • If you plan to walk up to pick up your students, please park in a parking spot in the parking lot and use crosswalks.
  • Drop off may begin no earlier than 8:30 AM.
  • Use designated cross walks to access the parking lot or playgrounds.
  • Be patient, especially as we start the school year and the pick up/drop off routine are new to many families.
  • Call the office by 2:00 PM if there will be a change in the way your child will normally go home so the teacher can be made aware of the change in plans.

*Wednesdays early release - 8:50 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
