Dear KSD Families,
February marks a month of important discussions and decisions as we look toward the future of our district. We have several key events and academic milestones approaching, and we invite you to be a part of them.
Our School Board invites you to meet the three finalists for the next Superintendent of Kuna Schools 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Kuna High School Commons. The Board has selected a panel of parents to craft and ask questions of the candidates.
We appreciate Neil Durrant, Keri Larsen, Brian Reczek, Elliott Tolbert, and Hilary Woodland for their time and dedication in serving on this committee. You will be able to provide feedback on comment cards that the Board will consider that night as they evaluate the finalists.
🎓 Planning for Next Year: Class Selections
Our counseling teams are currently visiting fifth-grade and eighth-grade classes to begin the important process of choosing classes for their first year of middle and high school.
Additionally, our other secondary grades are beginning the class choice process for the upcoming school year. Please check in with your child about their interests and the courses they are selecting.
We are excited to host our annual College and Career Fair for families of students in grades 5–12 from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kuna High School.
This event is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore future paths, and we truly appreciate the amazing turnout from our local businesses and institutions of higher education. Their support makes this special event possible every year.
Shout out to the high school team that coordinates this amazing event.
Thank you for your continued engagement in our schools.
