Principal's Message

Welcome Back, Hubbard Families!

We are so excited for the upcoming school year! Whether you are a new family or a returning family, we cannot wait to welcome all of our wonderful Timberwolves back to school. Hubbard Elementary is truly an incredible place to be, and our entire team—from our custodial and cafeteria staff to our teachers and administrators—is thrilled and ready to support your students every step of the way.
As we prepare for a fantastic year together, here are a few important details to keep in mind:

🗓️ Important Dates & Reminders

  • Back to School Night: Tuesday, August 11th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Students can visit their classrooms, meet their teacher, and drop off school supplies.
  • Popsicle Social: Be sure to stick around and enjoy a popsicle outside with Principal Randall and Vice Principal Stivison!
  • Morning Drop-Off Time:
  • Morning student drop-off begins at 8:30 AM. General education students may not be dropped off before 8:30 AM.
  • Note: You may notice some students entering the building prior to 8:30 AM to receive specialized services, but supervision for all other students begins at 8:30 AM.
We are looking forward to a wonderful year of learning, growth, and community. See you all very soon!
Warmly,
Principal Randall & Vice Principal Stivison

Class Placements

Thank you for your patience as our class placements are still being finalized. On Monday, August 10th, parents and guardians can login to PowerSchool to find out who their child's teacher will be for the school year.

Our Class Placement Process
Please note that our staff puts a tremendous amount of care, thought, and intention into creating balanced, supportive learning environments for every student. When making placement decisions, we carefully weigh a wide variety of factors (including academic strengths, social-emotional needs, and classroom dynamics) to ensure every class is well-balanced and set up for success.

Because changes to one placement can impact the overall balance of an entire classroom, we are unable to accommodate individual request changes. Thank you for your trust and support as we work to create the best possible learning environment for all of our Timberwolves!

Bus Information

Bus Information
We are excited to offer the new BusRight app for our school district families!

After a successful pilot test this summer, this app is ready to help you track your child's bus on its way to and from school.

Student Bus Badges Students will receive a special badge to scan when getting on and off the bus. Badges will be handed out at your child's school during open houses and back-to-school events. Look for more information from your child's school.

Features of the App:

  • Live GPS Tracking: Watch the bus move along its route on a live map.
  • Estimated Time of Arrival Notifications: Get a pop-up message when the bus is close to your stop so you don't have to wait outside in bad weather.
  • Route Status Alerts: Get notified when the bus starts its route and when it finishes its journey.
  • Direct Updates: Receive instant messages from our transportation team about traffic, delays, or mechanical issues.
How to Get Started:

  1. Download the App: Parents are invited to download the BusRight app today from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  2. Set Up Your Account: Kuna School District will send you an invitation to set up your account in the app
