Subject: A Friendly (and Slightly Panicked!) Drop-Off Zone Survival Guide 🚗💨
Dear Families,
We love seeing your smiling faces every morning, but let’s talk about the sacred land known as the Drop-Off and Pick-Up Zone.
To keep our mornings running like a well-oiled machine (and to keep our sanity intact), here are a few golden rules:
  • Stay in the cockpit: Please stay inside your vehicle at all times! Leaving your car parked in the drop-off zone to jump out is like pausing a movie right at the climax—it freezes everything, and the line behind you gets very dramatic.
  • The 8:30 AM magic boundary: Drop-off begins no earlier than 8:30 AM. Dropping your child off at 8:25 AM and zooming away means they are standing outside unsupervised. When a couple of early birds do this, we suddenly end up with a tiny, adorable, unsupervised flash mob wandering the grounds before staff are on duty—and that is a recipe for pure chaos!
  • Deploy your student swiftly: Have your child packed, prepped, and ready to exit the vehicle quickly (backpacks on, shoes tied, high-fives given) as soon as 8:30 hits and you reach the curb.

Reminder: Power school will notify you as soon as the teacher clicks absent. This may not be accurate as students who are late or possibly finishing breakfast may be trickling into the classroom. IF your student is absent then Ms. Cassi or the Office will send a parent square message.

The stakes have never been higher, Hubbard Elementary! On Monday, September 14th, someone is going to pucker up and kiss a real-life pig at 7:30 PM—and you get to decide who takes the fall!

How to Cast Your Vote: It’s time to go on a high-stakes treasure hunt! Raid the couch cushions, sweep under the beds, excavate the car floorboards, and dig through those random kitchen drawers. Bring in every last bit of loose change you can find and dump it right into the jar of the contender you most want to see kiss a piggy snout!
Whoever’s jar hoards the most cold, hard cash by game time gets the ultimate honor of swapping cheek-smacks with our snouted superstar. Every cent counts toward maximum barnyard entertainment! 🪙🐷💨

Bus Information

Bus Information
We are excited to offer the new BusRight app for our school district families!

After a successful pilot test this summer, this app is ready to help you track your child's bus on its way to and from school.

Student Bus Badges Students will receive a special badge to scan when getting on and off the bus. Badges will be handed out at your child's school during open houses and back-to-school events. Look for more information from your child's school.

Features of the App:


  • Live GPS Tracking: Watch the bus move along its route on a live map.
  • Estimated Time of Arrival Notifications: Get a pop-up message when the bus is close to your stop so you don't have to wait outside in bad weather.
  • Route Status Alerts: Get notified when the bus starts its route and when it finishes its journey.
  • Direct Updates: Receive instant messages from our transportation team about traffic, delays, or mechanical issues.
How to Get Started:


  1. Download the App: Parents are invited to download the BusRight app today from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  2. Set Up Your Account: Kuna School District will send you an invitation to set up your account in the app

Drop off/Pick up Reminder

Pick Up, Drop Off, and Parking Lot Safety
  • Safety of your child(ren) is our priority. Please pick up and drop off your child in the designated areas.
  • NO drop-off/pick-up in the bus lane.
  • No traffic or parking allowed in the bus lane.
  • Please pull forward as far as you can. Students will use the sidewalks to get to the building/playground at the beginning of the day and again to get to you car at the end of the day.
  • If you plan to walk up to pick up your students, please park in a parking spot in the parking lot and use crosswalks.
  • Drop off may begin no earlier than 8:30 AM.
  • Use designated cross walks to access the parking lot or playgrounds.
  • Be patient, especially as we start the school year and the pick up/drop off routine are new to many families.
  • Call the office by 2:00 PM if there will be a change in the way your child will normally go home so the teacher can be made aware of the change in plans.
