Principal's Message

Dear Families,
Get ready for an exciting evening of fun and school spirit! On Monday, September 14th, we’re hosting Hubbard Night at Lowe Family Farmstead.
When you purchase your tickets, be sure to mention Hubbard Elementary at checkout—a portion of every ticket sold goes directly back to supporting our students and staff! It's a wonderful opportunity for our K–3 families to come together, enjoy the autumn festivities, and support our school.
🐷 The Great "Kiss the Pig" Contest (Sept. 7th – 11th)
To kick off the excitement, we’re running a Kiss the Pig voting contest at school during the week of September 7th through September 11th!
Students and staff can cast their votes using loose change—raid the couch cushions, check under the car seats, and empty out those piggy banks! Whoever raises the most money in their jar will take the stage at 7:30 PM on September 14th at The Farmstead for the ultimate prize: kissing a real-life pig!
(Is it really "winning" if you have to kiss a pig? We'll let our contenders decide!)

Will the "winner" be:
  • Principal Randall
  • Mrs. Hoagland
  • Mrs. Martin
  • Mrs. Gardner
  • Mrs. Parker
  • Mrs. Hadwin (aka Miss Price)
🐽 Bonus Challenge!
If our school community raises $250 total in loose change during the contest week, Vice Principal Stivison will wear a full pig costume during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up on Monday, September 14th!
We can’t wait to see everyone there, laugh together, and cheer on whichever brave staff member gets to pucker up. Thank you for your continued support and partnership!

Bus Information

Bus Information
We are excited to offer the new BusRight app for our school district families!

After a successful pilot test this summer, this app is ready to help you track your child's bus on its way to and from school.

Student Bus Badges Students will receive a special badge to scan when getting on and off the bus. Badges will be handed out at your child's school during open houses and back-to-school events. Look for more information from your child's school.

Features of the App:

  • Live GPS Tracking: Watch the bus move along its route on a live map.
  • Estimated Time of Arrival Notifications: Get a pop-up message when the bus is close to your stop so you don't have to wait outside in bad weather.
  • Route Status Alerts: Get notified when the bus starts its route and when it finishes its journey.
  • Direct Updates: Receive instant messages from our transportation team about traffic, delays, or mechanical issues.
How to Get Started:

  1. Download the App: Parents are invited to download the BusRight app today from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  2. Set Up Your Account: Kuna School District will send you an invitation to set up your account in the app
